We booked the Ellis Room for a birthday party for my 9 year old. Kids got to swim for $5 a head. Great venue with outside access. The kids LOVED being able to use the pool, and the room was easy to access and use. The ladies at the desk were awesome too (of course their names have escaped me) but they were so tolerant of our noisy crew and I am so thankful.

We read the reviews and it was unfortunate how negative people were towards this place. My family enjoyed everything about this place The pool , hot tub and sauna were great, well maintained and clean. Our cabin looked like it renovated so we really enjoyed staying there with fireplace allowing the kids hang outside. We have told many people about this place and we will be back for sure !

What a beautiful hidden gem!! I will be back with my girlfriend for sure! The cottages are super clean, beautifully decorated and totally charming with their fireplaces. To be able to stroll down and and walk on the beach was an added bonus. Don't tell everyone, I want to go back next year!!

We recently visited Beach Acres Resort for the first time with our family of 5. The cottages were clean, spacious and provided everything we needed. The property offered a variety of fantastic activities and our kids had a blast. The pool and other amenities were also well taken care of and notably clean. We had a fantastic stay here and will definitely be back.

We have stayed here many times over quite a few yesrs. We have been here at different gimes of the year and it has always been a great experience. Family events and business meetings as we?l as quiet get aways with my wife. Love the beach front cabins, but the cottages in the trees are nice too.

19 of us gathered for my Dad's 80th. From the moment we first walked in until we checked out, we were treated so well. The townhouses and cottages were roomy and so well clean. The whole atmosphere was perfect. Thankyou to the woman at the front desk who answered all our questions and helped us so much. We will be back. ??

We had such a fabulous family holiday at Beach Acres! We rented two cabins one Beachfront Cottage and one Forest Cottage and they were both great. So relaxing waking up and watching the tide go out every morning. There was something for all ages to do – long walks on the beach, building sandcastles, pickle ball, swimming, nearby golf & hiking, family BBQs and we loved the Black Goose for dinner on Friday night with the live guitar player. Both units were great and fully equipped with everything we could need and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to the owners of pet friendly units so we could bring our dog, he had a great time too! Already looking forward to coming back next year.

B.A.R. is an absolutely breathtaking location. The resort is SO clean, organized with a great lil outdoor restaurant with live music. Seperate building for coin laundry. Everyone was so friendly. Wonderful place to bring your family ~ kids, dogs, bikes, paddleboards. All seemed mindful that it IS a village type experience & keep "outside voices lol" at the very easy beach access. ?? Fantastic location with beautiful sunset! My family and I had a fantastic and relaxing week-long stay at Beach Acres Cottages. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We stayed in a forest cottage, which was a nice, peaceful retreat, but still gave us easy access to the beach—just a short walk away. The path down to the sand is a bit steep, so you'll want to walk with care, but it's well worth it! The cottage was cozy and comfortable. We had two bedrooms and kids especially loved the bunk beds, though we found the bottom bunk is best for younger kids (around 6 and under) as it's a bit short. It was handy to have our own personal parking spot right beside the cottage. The amenities here are great. We spent time playing ping pong, tennis, and pickleball, and the kids loved the swimming pool. It's a huge bonus that you can rent sports equipment directly from the office. It was super hot when we were there and the office was kind enough to offer us a portable fan. The beach also has hose to wash off the sand which is a plus. A little tip for future guests: be sure to pack your own shampoo, conditioner, shower soap, and kitchen essentials like condiments, oil, and tinfoil. Also sand buckets and shuffles. We found that we didn’t use our lounge chairs as there are lounge chairs everywhere. Overall, it was a wonderful, laid-back experience. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

This is the second year of going to Beach Acres Resort. The one level cottage is well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen. The living room has comfortable furniture. The beds are super comfy. The bathroom is great. Ours was a pet friendly one. There is an inside pool which is a great escape for the kids when its raining or too hot for the beach in the afternoons. The grounds are beautiful & each unit has a patio set & huge yard for the kids to play. The roads are only used for guests so bike riding is a must!! There is tennis courts. We didn't go to the beach as its down the hill & I walk with a walker but Rathtrevor beach is less than 5 minutes away & has a short walk from the parking lot.
