We had a wonderful stay at Qualicum Beach Inn. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until our departure. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile. Their professionalism and friendliness made us feel truly valued as guests. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The highlight was definitely the beautiful ocean view from our balcony – waking up to such a view was unforgettable. We also enjoyed dining at the hotel’s restaurant, where the food was excellent and the service outstanding. It was a real pleasure to have such a great restaurant on site. The only small downside was the lack of an elevator, which could make things more difficult for guests with heavy luggage, elderly visitors, or people with reduced mobility. Apart from this minor point, our experience was excellent. Congratulations and sincere thanks to the entire team for their hard work and dedication. Beautiful view. Clean. Comfortable. Kind staff. Great location! But…we were in an ocean view room right above the outdoor restaurant. It was very loud with the chatter of happy customers and loud music late into the night. Closing the balcony door blocked the music some but the room got warm quickly so then we had to open the door. I spent the evening looking for alternate accommodation for our next visit to the area. The view is lovely and everyone is very friendly but the music and restaurant noise made the 500.00 bill hard to bear. It’s a comfortable room. The toiletries (great brand!), robes and slippers are lovely but we could not relax. If you are looking for a lively setting, this place is for you! We were hoping to hear the waves and get some rest.

The four of us stayed at the Qualicum Beach Inn for two nights and we had a wonderful time exploring the local area. The hotel was immaculately maintained and our rooms were extremely comfortable. The patio area outside of the room was clean and tidy and the furniture was comfortable. The restaurant and bar area were clean and very modern and the food was first class. The menu offered a variety of options and we had no cause to complain about the quality of the food as it was exceptional. The views to the ocean offered an excellent opportunity to relax after a day spent exploring followed by a fantastic meal. We will definitely be returning to stay again in the future.

We stayed in the two-bedroom suite. The room was newly updated, with a great little kitchen and very comfortable beds, linens and pillows. There’s a lovely little gas fireplace that adds great ambiance to the room. There’s a great view of the beach too (with a roof and parking lot in between as mentioned in other reviews but we didn’t mind that). Great location for walking along the water or walking into town. Our main complaint is there are mechanical units above the two-bedroom suite on the roof that kept my friend in the second bedroom up a lot of the night; she finally went into the living room to sleep on the pull-out couch, where there was still noise, but quieter. I was in the main bedroom and it took a while to fall asleep with the noise, but I was able to sleep through the night. We swapped rooms with each other the second night and I was in the second room for a very short time before moving to the pull-out because of the noise. Another note about the second bedroom is that there is no A/C and no window (no window in either of the bedrooms but there’s good A/C and heat in the main) so the second bedroom was warm in addition to being loud. We (kindly) told the person at the front desk about this after the first night and asked if there was another two bedroom we could move to. She (also kindly) said that there is only one suite, yes, there are mechanical units above the suite and that she would leave a note for the manager. We didn’t hear from anyone the rest of the stay. We won’t be back, not because it’s not a nice hotel or because the staff weren’t kind (they were). We don’t want to pay $600/night for a two-bedroom when we’re only using one room plus the couch with no response from the hotel. I imagine that most of the rooms there would make for a very nice stay. As long as they aren’t near the units on the roof or above the kitchen (as another guest pointed out).

This place is terrific and the staff make it delightful! We booked a room to celebrate my husbands Birthday and have dinner with our family. The room was great - and had a lovely tub unlike the showers most places now provide - with actual soap and little bottles of shampoo and lotion - again - so much better than bottles affixed to the walls in many hotels. Dinner was Perfect! Thank you - we'll be back!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We ate there too and the food was wonderful and the staff very attentive. Rooms are large and spacious and right out front is a nice beach exposure for walking. We'll be back!

love this place so much!!! came for valentine’s day and it was lovely. the view was amazing, the only thing that sucked was the parking situation. the parking spots are too small for our truck and not enough spots but i understand as there isn’t really enough space for more parking spots around the hotel but otherwise everything was perfect definitely will be coming back one day!

This was our second time staying at the QBI, and it was beyond wonderful! The staff make you feel like you've known them for years! The restaurant had live music, which was a bonus, but also a great musician! The food and drinks are everything and never disappoint. The cleanliness of the hotel, rooms and facilities isn't comparable to any other hotel we have stayed at. I can't find the words to describe the impeccable service we experienced there once again.

This was a 5-star experience across the board. From the holiday decorations to the cleanliness, to the food and to the service. But most importantly, it was the staff who were working on the holidays, with smiles on their faces, meeting and exceeding our expectations at every turn. Special thanks to Carlton the Doorman who worked Christmas Eve and Christmas night and made our stay so memorable. Thank you, Qualicum Beach Inn and Cafe! We will be back!

Qualicum Beach Inn is beautiful! The decor is modern but comfy. Cozy, quality cotton bedding made for slow mornings viewing the sea. The pool area is immaculate and the hot tube and sauna rejuvenating. The friendly, accomodating staff put icing on the cake!
