We stayed in an executive king room with a kitchenette. It had a keurig coffee maker, mini fridge with freezer, complete with ice cube tray. A 2 burner stove, microwave and all the dishes and cookware we needed. The bed was super comfy and we had a view of the pool. It is a very family friendly place so if you're looking for quiet you might try somewhere else, but it didn't bother us at all. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Riverside Resort at the end of May, just before the busy season, and it ended up being a really fun little getaway for the price. Super quiet, super relaxed — exactly what we needed. The Wi?Fi wasn’t amazing unless you pay to upgrade, but we made it work with Netflix and our phone data. We stayed in the 2?bedroom apartment split, which was small but totally functional. It had a little kitchen setup with dishes and utensils, and the pull?out couch has definitely seen better days but still worked fine. Parking is tight, but being off?season helped. There are some long?term renters around, but everyone we met was friendly, and the staff were great. There’s also coin laundry on site, which we didn’t use, but it’s handy to have. The mini golf was quirky but fun, and the pools were perfect for us — two slides into the shallow pool and a deeper pool beside it. They’re on the smaller side, but having them basically to ourselves made it feel like our own private waterpark. The playground is older but still a hit; our daughter played there for hours. The on?site store was convenient, prices were reasonable, and the ice cream was delicious. Huge win. The beach is only a 5?minute drive, which was perfect for quick family trips. If we go back, we’d love to try one of the 2?bedroom cabins — they looked super cozy and more “camping vibe” than the townhouse-style unit we stayed in

My daughters, 5 & 7, and I had the BEST weekend at Riverside Resort. ? The water slide! ? The min golf! ?The (truely) mega scoop ice cream! ?Every staff we interacted with at the desk and around the park were so kind and helpful. Our cabin was clean and cozy. We had a few small requests and were tended to promptly. Beautiful wholesome memories were made. Thank you for all the work staff puts in to make for such a lovely family resort. We will be back! ???

I have stayed at the beautiful Riverside Resort several times over the years. Its located in a very convenient area close to the Qualicum river with many nature trails. Also the ocean is just a few minute walk away and a short drive to the many local cuisines and pubs. My stay here has always been an excellent experience. The reception staff are friendly and knowledgable and will help guide you to the many amenities that the Resort has to offer for short or perhaps an extended stay. I would most definitely stay at the Riverside Resort again. Thankyou to All the Wonderful Staff! Malia :)

The team at Riverside is wonderful! We had our workers stay there a few times for their shifts. The resort was very accommodating for us. The kitchenettes rooms are a HUGE bonus for having staff stay there from out of town. The location is nice and quiet. The rooms are very clean. We would recommend staying their for business or pleasure.

Riverside Resort was by far the best travel nursing accommodations I stayed at in over two years of travel nursing, the front desk and management are terrific and super friendly, the store and laundry at site is so convenient for people like me who work away from home and in the summer the pool and waterside and mini golf made it so much more fun on my days off!! Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay for work or even for a weekend getaway!! And if you love to camp they have beautiful rv sites right beside little Qualicum River ?? thank you Riverside!! You guys rock! ? ?

We have stayed here as a camper in the summer and rented a room in the winter. The staff is always amazing and very helpful. This property has everything you could want/need in regards to business or vacation stay. (We have done both) They accommadated us with our dog and 4 children. The store is stocked full of all kinds of stuff, you can get fresh made pizza, icecream or groceries for your room. The pool area in the summer is an awesome way to cool off and they even have mini golf. Hands down, this is my favorite place to stay on the island.

We stayed at Riverside Resort last summer and honestly had the best time! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Our unit was super spacious (I think it was a 2-bedroom condo), which made our stay really comfortable. We went with our close friends and had so much fun together — the waterslide and mini golf were such a hit! One thing I really appreciated was the convenience store on-site. If you forget anything, no worries at all — they’ve got you covered! ? And can we talk about the ice cream? So good! Tons of flavors and very generous scoops for a great price. Such a nice little treat after a long, fun day. What made our stay even more stress-free was the coin-operated laundromat. Since we stayed for 7 days, having laundry available made life so much easier. We were able to go home with fresh, clean clothes and didn’t have to worry about piles of laundry afterward. Another thing we absolutely loved was that the resort is only 5 minutes away from the beach, so we enjoyed lovely evening walks after dinner while watching the beautiful sunsets. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Overall, it was such a wonderful and relaxing experience. I’d happily recommend Riverside Resort to anyone, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next summer! ?

Overall our experience was pleasant, however, im not sure how the math added up at the end. I was told on Sunday our hydro bill would be 54 dollars, when we left on tuesday, it had jumped to 87 dollars...? We had paid 485 to have the spot held for us when we moved in and expected 485 when we left but somehow recieved only 450...? Our girls made alot of friends and had a good time, most of the front desk people were very pleasant and kind, same with the people that took care of the yards and their kids, although it would've been nice if the men's shower had been fixed in the month we had stayed. All in all, besides bad math, we made a few friends

I stayed at Riverside Resort on October 31st for our Halloween vacation, and it was wonderful! The cabin was perfect, clean, and very comfortable. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and welcoming, and the housekeeping team was incredibly helpful with everything we needed. On Halloween night, they even held a fireworks display for about 15 minutes — it was absolutely fantastic! I had such a great experience and will definitely be coming back again. :)
