You would have to go all the way to Victoria or Vancouver to find anywhere else to eat or stay that compares with the Crown Mansion, right here in Qualicum. This place lives up to its name in every single department, from the hotel rooms/villas to the dining room, to its lovely location. Michelle takes making her hotel guests or diners happy, to the next level. She’s one of very few chefs, confident enough to walk through the dining room and ensure that every diner is happy. I highly recommend this place and if your expectations are high, they’ll definitely get met. While in Qualicum, I wouldn’t consider eating or staying anywhere else. 5 ??

The perfect boutique hotel girls-night experience. Old school service from the Library with cocktails and chips and dip to the most delicious local fare in the Sapphire Dining room right through to the Bing Crosby room. So welcoming, so comfortable, so delicious. Thanks for making us feel so special, Chef Michelle!

The Crown Mansion is a true hidden gem. The food is outstanding, the staff are knowledgeable and attentive, and the atmosphere is fun yet refined. It’s one of those places that quietly exceeds expectations—definitely worth a visit.

My stay at the Crown Mansion exceeded my expectations. From the standalone jetted clawfoot bathtub and heated tile floors to the warm welcome I received from Michelle, the hotel manager, every detail contributed to a truly exceptional experience. I felt genuinely well taken care of throughout my visit. The view was spectacular, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the ten hours of sleep I enjoyed were greatly appreciated. Although I stayed during the off-season, I can only imagine how wonderful the property must be in the summertime. I will certainly return and look forward to trying the restaurant as well—the menu looks absolutely delicious.

We just concluded our two night stay and it was one of the most relaxing stays we have done, the villa was well equipped clean and comfortable. Due to us booking our stay Monday and Tuesday the restaurant was not open but hopefully we will get to experience it in the future. Thank you staff and management at crown mansion.

We had not been to the Crown Mansion before but received a gift certificate so thought we would give it a try. The service and dinner were to die for, but when we put out the gift certificate of 125.00 and there was 45.00 more our server went cold as ice to us never treated us like his other customers and we tipped him 20% on the whole bill not just the last amount which I am sure he thought was going to happen, it was to bad for my daughter and I were having such a great time celebrating Mother’s Day and he basically ruined it for us I have lived in Qualicum for 44 years and appalled that this would happen in our small community It is so sad for the food was excellent and I will never go back or ever recommend this Restaurant to my friends or family

My 3 night stay at the Crown Mansion was amazing, relaxing, and serene. My space had with everything one would need to be comfortable, happy and more. No corners were cut in the making and updating of this property. It is a lovely, clean and well maintained oasis. The staff are wonderful. Michelle (hotel manager and master chef at the hotel’s restaurant), Leimana and Caroline at the front desk, and even the staff I didn’t meet, but ran into at various times were all very friendly, kind as well as professional. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel. The only thing I regret is having stayed during the nights when the hotel restaurant is closed (Sun-Wed). Next time I’m in the area, I will definitely want to have dinner there. Everyone has told me their food is absolutely wonderful and I already know service will be impeccable.

Crown Mansion is nothing short of amazing. Rooms: Nice amount of space, very clean, bed is SO comfortable & there is everything you require to feel at home! Location: Quiet - nestled in the trees, with a view of the ocean - but walkable to town. The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to.

Staying at the Crown mansion was a wonderful experience. The room we had was was exceptionally clean and large with a separate sitting room and 2 bathrooms. Michelle was great. We chatted with her outside the morning after we arrived not realizing she was the manager, chef and pretty much everything else. The gardens are great and the neighbouring woodland is a wonderful peaceful place. Congratulations to the community for saving that site from development. Try and stay at least one of the nights that the restaurant is open as it is one of the best we have eaten at. The service was great there too. This was our first visit to Qualicum Beach but we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the community. We will be back even though we are from the opposite coast of Canada.
