It’s a great location but we didn’t have enough towels and the lights in the upper loft didn’t work. I emailed them asking for a later checkout and they replied, but when I asked about the lighting upstairs I received no response

My family of 5 stayed in unit 206 in mid August. The property is really nice, clean, and tidy. All the amenities that we needed were there such as little bottles of shampoo/conditioner and kitchen supplies. There is also an inside laundry room but make sure you have coins for this. Beds were comfortable and the views spectacular. In my opinion I think this unit far exceeds other rooms that we’ve stayed in before. It’s clearly well taken care of and it’s an end unit..closer to the beach for the kids!

I love this resort but not room 210. They advertise that they can sleep 5 people in this room and it sleeps 2 singles or 2 couples. The third "bed" is a thin pad on a slab of wood that is rock hard and with a very low ceiling. This is worse than a prison bed. Very disappointed, this is not suitable for an adult or child. They have two padded slabs to put on the rock hard wood but they are not mattresses and they are different sizes so they can't be effectively stacked. This is smaller than a twin bed so naturally none of the bedding fits this area. There were added issues with cleanliness. The blanket smelled like a dirty dog in some spots and like smelly feet in other spots. This was definitely not washed between guests. There was 1 pillow case with an odour and one of the kitchen rags smelled of vomit. True Key Vacations (the management company) stopped replying to our emails so we did not bother reporting these issues to them. Other units at Shorewater are clean and sanitary so this is another issue specific to unit #210. I will visit Shorewater resort again as I am a regular here but I will never stay in room 210 again and do not recommend it.

We’ve been coming to the Shorewater Resort for the past 20 years, and Room 206 is always the first choice. It’s clean, cozy, and has everything our family needs. Since it’s right off the beach the location is perfect and is also close to shops, restaurants, and pretty much anything you’d want. It’s super convenient since it’s an end unit, especially with kids. We always feel comfortable and at home here. Just a really cozy, enjoyable place to stay.

We have stayed at this resort multiple times and keep on coming back. This is the place for you if you are looking for some quiet relaxation or quality family time. We always stay in unit 206 which is a lovely end unit on the upper floors. The beach view from the living room windows can't be beat. The beach in this area is much quieter than closer to town and you can often see marine life from the deck. The unit has all the comforts of home to cook yourself a meal (Qualicum foods is about a 5 minute drive for groceries) or there are numerous nearby restaurants if you want to go out to eat. This unit has been clean and comfortable on every visit. We look forward to coming back every year!

Super quite, Super cozy, liked the loft and the views from balcony, we caught sea lions mating ,we took it as a good sign on our fourth anniversary ?

This was a last-minute trip as my Airbnb was canceled due to a power outage from a recent storm! Thankfully, this was not only cheaper, but also had a full kitchen, a lot more space, and a beautiful ocean view! The space was nicely decorated and came with everything that was needed. The only reason I rated 4 stars is because someone tried to break into my gas tank during our stay. Other than that, we had no issues.

I love this place. The rooms are always so clean with everything you need in them, close proximity to town and obviously right on the beach. Its a perfect little getaway and I would highly recommend.

This was a great find on AIRBNB. We did an impromptu get away to the area to visit friends. We love to have a kitchen when we travel, so I always look for apartment/home rentals and lucked onto this one. It is located right at the beach, walk out the patio door, and you are there. The room is nicely decorated, and the kitchen has everything you could want, as does the bathroom (shampoo/conditioner/hairdryer). There is a selection of patio furniture outside that is communal and a fun sand pit to sit at or play in (bring badminton rackets). We brought lawn chairs and took them out to the water edge to enjoy the water and listen to some music. There are also some fairly tame bunnies on the lawn out front.

We stayed at the shorewater for 3 nights. While it was a nice little hotel be aware that they double charged me and it's been over a week with no resolution and no further response other than a response to my first email asking why they double charged. They said their system did it but won't give me a number to call for their "system" people. Still no refund. Very disappointed. The hotel itself is cute and well maintained. If you sleep on the pull out couch or the Murphy bed the sunlight will wake you up beaming down on you first thing in the morning. Edit: it is June 24 and still no resolution and they still owe me a lot of money. I'm going to have to go through the fraud department at the bank. Don't stay here
