Stayed in Room 103 May 28-June 2. The room was clean, and linens were clean. Beds were very comfortable! The room could use a second mirror outside of the bathroom, and there were a couple small areas of the room (a few spots on the walls, corners of bathroom) could use some attention. The shower head was kind of low, so for people 6 feet or taller, it might be an awkward shower, but other than that, nothing to complain about! Staff were friendly! There is a Boston Pizza and a Tim Horton’s across the road, easily in walking distance. There is a cannabis store (only mentioning for those who would like to know) and a burger place next door to the hotel. Parksville is a great neutral location to return to after a day of Island Adventures. Definitely recommend this hotel for travellers. If you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room. Upper level are accessible only by stairs. And keep your eyes open for the resident bunnies!

On our most recent journey to Parksville we've just discovered the Skylite Motel, a lovely little gem located on the Island highway, and close to many local amenities. The owners are helpful, hospitable and catered to our needs and requests with a smile. The rooms have special little extras that make you feel at home, and the beds are very comfortable. And you can get a kitchenette for doing your own cooking. We will be back!

Run really well. Close to Shell gas station, island bus depot back parking lot. Another hotel may have the bay view and in house fancy restaurant, but this establishment had the best bed, and numerous restaurants.

I would stay here again. Very comfortable bed, very friendly people, and close to the beach and amenities. Very affordable!

Honestly, this is not the nicest motel. But, the rooms were far nicer than I expected. The prices were reasonably low, and the most of all the manager is extremely flexible, relaxed and accommodating. Stayed here for close to a month during summer rush and it was an overall good experience. Its location is close to most everything.

This was the absolutely cleanest motel I’ve ever stayed in! They’ve got the chain hotel/motels beat in that regard. The location is very central. Despite being on a busy road it was very quiet in the room (I was in a room closest to the road). The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again!

We stayed at this place for two nights and were honestly impressed — this motel felt more like a hotel in terms of comfort and service. The conditions were excellent: clean, modern, and well-equipped. While the prices weren’t exactly cheap (in fact, sometimes even higher than some hotel rooms we’ve stayed at before), the quality absolutely matched the cost. The front desk staff were very polite and professional. We even accidentally left a few items behind, and the administration kindly mailed them to us. That level of service is rare and very much appreciated. Thank you so much — highly recommended!

The rooms, service, and location are all fantastic. The very friendly owner makes sure everything is how it should be. I will be staying here every time I visit the island.
