We booked 3 nights in an ocean view suite, but the guestroom experience was well below average. 1. the first floor corner suite was dark/not well lit. 2. windows was right beside a busy walkway, so curtains had to be closed for privacy, defeating the purpose of selecting and paying premium for oceanview. 3. sands were found in the bed 4. furnitures were dusty and worn Service and location was great, but due to guesroom experience, I would not recommend the resort.

We booked two rooms at the Beach Club Resort from June 30 to July 2 for a Canada Day employee appreciation trip. Unfortunately, both rooms had a strong musty and unpleasant smell when we arrived. We reported it to the front desk, but the resort was fully booked and they were unable to move us. We opened the doors and tried to air out the rooms, but the accommodations were still not what we expected, particularly considering the price we paid. There was also a dispute after checkout regarding additional smoking charges applied to our rooms. Nobody in our group smokes, and we had reported smelling cigarette smoke coming from the area around our rooms during the stay. Resolving the charges took considerable time and effort, which added further frustration to an already disappointing experience. However, management ultimately reviewed the situation and reversed the additional charges, which we appreciate. Although the financial issue was eventually resolved, the condition of the rooms and the overall experience did not meet our expectations for a resort at this price point.

This resort is doing SO many things right! Our family LOVED the amenities like beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, wagons. And the staff were INCREDIBLE! I wish you could log into the TV's with your own Netflix account like in other hotels we've stayed in...after a long day on the beach, the kiddos just wanted to chill and watch a movie. But this certainly didn't take away from our overall experience which was a 10/10 :)

This resort is the best! The ocean is at your door and the resort has everything you need to enjoy it! Like: beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, boogie boards. Staff was so welcoming and friendly! The rooms are very well equipped and clean! Location is prime. The resort also has great amenities like indoor pool and hot tub. Lovely restaurant and lounge. Our family has stayed twice and thoroughly enjoyed both stays!

Love staying here! Best location, rooms are amazing and spacious. Ocean view is the best ever. So close to the playground and ice cream for the kids and nice walk along the board walk. Restaurant was nice and love the complimentary chairs, wagon, beach toys etc. Can’t wait to come back!

Such a nice place... super friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are so comfy. Beds, pillows, bedsheets, towels, toiletries are top notch. They even provide the guests with dishwasher and washing machine detergent. Also (great) coffee is provided. I will definetly come back!

had a wonderful stay and the hotel staff made the experience exceptional. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my visit. From check-in to check-out, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The level of service truly stood out and made my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful resort, excellent location, great amenities. The restaurant is lovely and has delicious locally sourced food. Be careful when you book an ocean view room. Our room had an obstructed ocean view which was not disclosed at booking but explained to be normal when we checked in. We paid extra to upgrade and were given another obstructed ocean view.

My friends and I went out for lunch at the restaurant. The service was quite poor- one server who took out order was friendly. Unfortunately the other server who delivered the food (a young woman) was rude and condescending. The kitchen messed up my friends order of a simple burger with no toppings - the server did not even say sorry and had some excuse. She never once smiled or made eye contact. This sever also gave my friend such a rude look (up and down) when she walked out to the bathroom. The food was also mediocre - soup, Mac n cheese, hamburger and the veggie burger. Very overpriced considering the dissapointing food! Only good thing was the view. Not a great experience here!

Amazing experience here, well worth the price in my opinion. Staff were all GENUINELY kind helpful and nice, every front desk staff I spoke with were amazing and informative, our restaurant server was also extremely attentive and ensured our experience was phenomenal. The bed was extremely comfortable and ensured an amazing sleep, and room amenities were so good. Came here for a two day getaway and had the absolutely most relaxing time Would 100% recommend this place over the other places in Parksville
