The room was clean, the recipionist was very friendly and helpful. Free popcorn and coffee. The beds were comfortable but the one thing that we didn't like was the coffee machine, it has some mold in it and it wasn't cleaned properly ( shown in picture ) , other than that our stay went smoothly and free parking!

Im giving "the tide's inn" five stars all around because I felt i got what I paid for. my room had one queen size bed and all the extras you would expect, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, etc. The room wasn't extravagant and had signs of many travelers, scuffs on walls and floors, but it was clean and well cared for. Very happy with my visit.

Worst experience! We booked a dog friendly, ground floor kitchette room. Got a confirmation email of quoted price. When we arrived, we found out our room was up a set of rickety stairs. Smelled musty and our kitchenette was a single hot plate in the cupboard!! The room beneath us seemed to be some sort of flop house with a number of people coming and going!? Our bill was $300 more than quoted in our confirmation email. The pet fee was also double what we were quoted! When we pointed this out, they said oh well!! They already had our credit card and ran it through! We asked for a refund and showed them our confirmation email. They shrugged their shoulders, said they didn't know who told us this and refused the refund! Bad way of doing business!

Worst place I have ever stayed. I had to change rooms due to a chemical smell that was making it hard for me to breathe. Went from a 2 Queen bed with kitchenette to one bed with no kitchenette and I have been fighting them for a refund for the downgrade for over a month. No deadbolt that you can lock when you leave, walls are paper thin. I would gladly pay extra to stay anywhere else in Parksville than ever stay here again. The staff at the desk were good to deal with, my complaint is with the owners/managers.

I had an amazing experience at the hotel. The service is second to none, the woman was so friendly and helpful, with a free bonus of a bag of popcorn ?. When I entered my room I found it very clean and a custom note for me and 2 beers in the fridge, I never drank the beer as I don't drink however it was a great gesture for sure and it was the first time I ever seen a hotel offer such a free thing. I highly recommend this hotel! It was very clean, quite with with top notch service.

Not very impressed. Paid for a room without viewing it first (My mistake) and after seeing what it actually looked like (and it wasn't good) I politely asked for a refund. Considering only 5 minutes had elapsed and I hadn't even touched anything in the room I assumed it wouldn't be an issue but was told they have a strict no-refund policy which is totally ridiculous and even more so in my case as such a short amount of time had passed since booking and then subsequently asking for a refund.

Wonderful location for families looking to visit Parksville. The free popcorn and mini-golf helped keep the family entertained and the site and room amenities allowed us to cook many meals in so we could save some money on restaurants. The room was very comfortable and included a bathtub to bathe the kids after a day at the beach. We were also able to park our car right in front of the room for easy loading and unloading. Staff was extremely friendly, we will visit again

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The room was spotless and cozy, which made our stay really comfortable. Definitely recommend if you’re after great service and a clean, welcoming place to stay.

I stayed at The Tide’s Inn with my friends and we had an amazing time. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. One of the best parts was how close it was to the beach it was just a short walk away, which made the trip even more relaxing. The location was peaceful but still close to everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again!

This place was great! Near beach and amenities very clean and affordable rooms are pristine. Ladies were nice and helpful! I will stay here again!
